The Waterworks Visual Arts Center has five interior exhibition spaces totaling over 2,500 square feet.  Our galleries are spacious, well lit and installation friendly. Located on the the first floor of our building , they are easily accessible. We also have three exterior installation spaces/gardens. All our galleries are open to the public and free of charge.

The Stanback Hall Gallery
The Norvell Gallery is gift of Lucile P. and Edwin O. Norvell  with 795 square feet of exhibition space.
 
The Stanback Hall Gallery is a gift of Nancy and Bill Stanback and is 58 running feet long and 10 feet high.

 
The Osborne Gallery (shown "Seedlings" by Lisa Weiss)
The Woodson Gallery(shown "New Works" by Whitney Peckman and Marge Loudon Moody)
The Osborne Gallery is a gift of Katharine Osborne in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie M. Weisger with 385 square feet
of exhibition space.

The Woodson Gallery is named in honor of Margaret C. Woodson and has 500 square feet of exhibition space.

The Stanback Garden (shown "Tecton #13" by Don Green)
The Young People's Gallery is a gift of the Rowan County Board of Commissioners and measures 715 square feet.

The Stanback Garden is a gift of Elizabeth Stanback and Alice and Fred Stanback.
It is 675 square feet with two permanent sculpture pads, (1-2x5' and 1-2x4')

The Cook Garden is a gift of Sara D. and Robert L. Cook, Jr., measuring 164 square feet with a permanent 3'x3' sculpture pad.

The Doris Price Deal Garden is a gift of the Deal Foundation.
