EDUCATION

An essential element of the Waterworks’ mission to the Salisbury-Rowan community is to provide exciting studio art classes, tours, artist lectures and demonstration programs, and special learning events for adults and young people throughout the year.  We offer a wide variety of classes for adults, teens, and children annually: spring, summer, and fall.  Waterworks also offers workshops each year with professional artists from across the nation.

Using the Waterworks Art Van, we take the art experience beyond the walls of the Center to all of Rowan County with programs to benefit youth through senior adults of low income, special needs, or limited mobility.

Go to the Classes & Workshops TAB for a list of current class offerings for children, teens and adults and for information about general registration guidelines and scholarship information.  Use the WORKSHOPS tab for professional artist studio workshop offerings.
