Street “Zines” and Neighborhood Scenes: Photo Walk

Ages 12+ / Afternoons 1-4pm

Bring your favorite device for a digital photo walk with other enthusiastic creatives. A photo walk is a social event where photographers gather to explore a community, shoot photos and practice their skills. The concept is simple: grab a camera, walk around and snap the pictures that tell your story. Young artists will then organize their photographs into a self-published work of original texts and images, called a “Zine”. The final step is to publish the Zine on a printer or copy machine and bind the pages together.
