ART for All: ART from All Perspectives
A Juried Exhibition Celebrating Regional BIPOC Artists

Exhibition Dates: March 23 – June 27, 2026
Submission Deadline: November 30, 2025
Waterworks Visual Arts Center invites artists of color from across the Southeast to submit work for ART for All: ART from All Perspectives, a juried exhibition celebrating the creativity, voices, and lived experiences of regional BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists.
Open to emerging and established artists 18 and older, this exhibition welcomes works in all media — including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, fiber, digital, and interdisciplinary art — that explore cultural identity, community, memory, or imagination.
Artists may submit up to three works completed within the past three years. The entry fee is $5.

Waterworks Visual Arts Center is seeking passionate, energetic art instructors who are eager to bring fresh, innovative ideas to our classrooms. We are looking for creative leaders who thrive on inspiring children and teens and who bring both enthusiasm and expertise to every lesson. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in their artistic practice; a proven record of excellence in teaching; as well as a genuine commitment to fostering joyful, skill-building experiences in the arts. If you are ready to share your vision and elevate our community through creativity, we would love to hear from you!

Waterworks Visual Arts Center is a nationally accredited teaching museum located in Salisbury, NC. Its mission is to provide diverse opportunities in the visual arts for all people through exhibitions, education, and outreach programs. The Arts Center aspires to enhance the creative capacity of individuals and communities by offering extraordinary visual arts experiences that foster creativity and learning.

Acceptable applications must submit an Art Instructor Portfolio to the link below. The Art Instructor Portfolio will include the following:
Current CV
Letter of interest
Teaching philosophy statement
Examples of lesson plans, recent student work, and personal artwork
