Spread Your Wings: Creating in Debbie’s Spirit
Family Fun Day 2026 will celebrate community, creativity, and connection while honoring the life and 21-year legacy of beloved teaching artist Debbie Hoffman. For more than 15 years, Family Fun Day has welcomed families to experience the breadth of Waterworks programming. This year’s event will serve as both a joyful celebration and a meaningful tribute.

This Family Fun Day will be joyful, colorful, and welcoming—just as Debbie was—while giving the community a meaningful way to gather, remember, and create together.
2-hour outdoor event
Held in the parking lot adjacent to Waterworks
Free and open to the public
Seven art-making stations for all ages
Community remembrance installation
Closing butterfly release ceremony
